25,000 AAdvantage Miles for Switching to DIRECTV

Wow. This is a great offer. Anyone who has been considering switching from Dish Network to Directv should definitely take advantage of this offer.

DIRECTV and AAdvantage Offer for 25,000 Miles

DIRECTV is offering 25,000 American Airlines AAdvantage miles for a two year service agreement.  It looks like they will be charging you $29.99 per month for the first year, then the price jumps up to $54.99 for the second year of the contract.  Which averages to $42.49 per month for the two year period.

DIRECTV Pricing

I would value 25,000 AAdvantage miles at about $400 so you’re looking at paying roughly $1000 over the next two years for your DIRECTV, and you’re saving $400 on your next flight.

It also comes with a free HD DVR and three receivers.  You also get three months free of HBO, Starz, Cinemax, and Showtime and over 140 channels.

Of course you’re going to want to read all of the Terms and Conditions, which can be read about at their Terms and Conditions page.

I had no problem with 25,000 AAdvantage miles when you get DIRECTV.
Miles showed up on AA account within 30 days. The HDTV channels worked OK too.
Put the DirecTV account on a new CITI AAdvantage VISA card & received 25K more AA miles.
Seems their program is now extended into Feb of 2014.
