Motels-<\/strong>\u00a0 Many of these are going to be the kind where you don\u2019t dare sleep in the sheets, but every once in a while you find a gem.\u00a0 Make sure you stay away from the Howard Johnson Inn Express in Wilmington, NC.\u00a0 Ugh.\u00a0 There was a motel in Beaver, UT where I stayed once that was just as nice as a Fairfield Inn. When you find one of these and they fit the mold, you could stay there a couple of nights.\u00a0 This could also be very useful during a roadtrip to locations like West Yellowstone, MT where you don\u2019t find too many chain hotels.<\/p>\n
