{"id":2189,"date":"2012-04-22T08:39:17","date_gmt":"2012-04-22T14:39:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/worldwanderlusting.com\/?p=2189"},"modified":"2013-01-04T22:29:10","modified_gmt":"2013-01-05T05:29:10","slug":"transfer-ultimate-rewards-to-amtrak","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldwanderlusting.com\/?p=2189","title":{"rendered":"Transfer Ultimate Rewards to Amtrak"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I just happen to have about 159,600 Chase Ultimate Rewards, and I&#8217;ve been playing with them the same way I used to count the nickels in my piggy bank as a child.\u00a0 One of my little daydreams involves a train ride from SLC to Vancouver, with a one-way flight on return.<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s face it, train travel in the United States isn&#8217;t exactly the luxury it once was.\u00a0 It isn&#8217;t quick, either.\u00a0 Yet, there&#8217;s a place for it and if you&#8217;ve got a few of Chase&#8217;s Ultimate Rewards lying around,\u00a0 it may be a nice complement to a trip you&#8217;re planning.<\/p>\n<p>Transferring points to Amtrak is as simple as you could imagine.
