If you’re like me, and this is precisely\u00a0what you need, set your DVR to record Discovery’s “Human Planet” series.\u00a0 If you’re a little more strapped for time and you need a quick fix, or even if you need a taste to get you fully convinced, check out the clips on the Human Planet site<\/a>.<\/p>\n

From Mongols who hunt with eagles, to\u00a0New Guineas\u00a0who live in trees, these episodes will take you from the ruins of Angkor Wat <\/a>in Cambodia, to the western highlands of Papua New Guinea.\u00a0\u00a0 For all that we marvel at nature, both animate and inanimate, the human species is even more than\u00a0amazing, it is miraculous.<\/p>\n

I’ve added at least\u00a08 more dream-locations just thanks to the few hours I’ve spent watching these specials.\u00a0 The cinematography\u00a0captures the experiences in ways I’ve never\u00a0known video to do, so here’s just a sample\u00a0of what you’ll see.<\/p>\n
